Abstract
The report describes preparations by the Royal Canadian Dragoons tank gunnery team for the 1987 Canadian Army Trophy (CAT) competition and presents analyses of the results of the competition. Mechanical, technical and training support for the team is briefly reviewed. Performance of the Canadian troops is compared to that of the other competing nations. Timing and accuracy of first and second shots and the time taken to hit targets are compared for both static and moving targets.
