MOTION MODEL FOR THE CORRECTION OF POINT-SOURCE DISTORTION IN RADIOGRAPHS OF HONEYCOMB

Abstract
A numerical method is proposed which compensates for distortion in honeycomb radiography due to point-source radiation. The method is based on a model which assumes that the radiation source is parallel, and that the distortion is caused by motion during the integration of the radiograph. The result is that by treating the point-source distortion as motion blurring, the distortion can be corrected, within the constraints of the model.
