Abstract
The report describes the design and construction of the DREP dynamicload cell instrumentation for the conditioning of the transient signals associated with instrumented impact testing. The hardware consists of a high speed wide-band amplifier and an optical light flag comparator. The amplifier is configured to excite and receive signals from a full bridge strain gauge arrangement. External output through BNC connectors is provided for signal storage and processing.
