Abstract
The series of four trials described in this report was carried out to obtain some preliminary data as to the efficiency of dispersal of the Brucella group of organisms as a slurry from the Type F, Mark 1 bomb. Br. abortus, strain 19, was selected as a simulant for virulent 'US' on account of its low virulence. Both organisms had previously been tested in the laboratory spray apparatus by D.W. Henderson and his co-workers at Camp Detrick and had been found to give a similar spray factor and to form a stable cloud.
