Abstract
Science Applications International Corporation (Canada) was tasked with transferring DREO computer codes and datafiles from PDP 11/34 media to PC compatible media and updating all executable routines to function on a Microsoft DOS 3.3 (PC) operating systems. Following the code 'downloading' and subsequent conversion, DREO-supplied sample problems were executed and compared with previously generated 11/34 results, in order to verify that the updated product performed as required. Finally, PDP 11/34 screen printing and graphics routines were modified to incorporate the 'Microcompatibles' graphics utilities package acquired for optimization of the data display capabilities of the modified FORTRAN routines. The report deals with the procedures implemented by SAIC to fulfill the requirements of the statement of work and produce a validated, 'user-friendly' finished product.
