Abstract
"Project Swiftsure" is a project to clean up chemical agent waste at the Defence Research Establishment Suffield (DRES). The purpose of Project Switftsure, according to DRES, is to destroy the waste "in a quick, but more importantly, a safe manner". The project will involve disposal of aged chemical warfare agents, scrap metal, empty containers and neutralized chemical agent solutions presently stored at the DRES Experimental Proving Ground (EPG).
