Abstract
To study these movements of the drift ice a network of ice observation radars was set up by the Institute of Low Temperature Science's Sea Ice Research (1,2). With these radars, observations are being made, at suitable intervals, of the conditions of drift ice distribution off the Okhotsk Sea coast of Hokkaido. The present report shows the drift ice distribution daily at 9-10 A.M. during the 1969 ice season.
