Abstract
It is noted that the development of an ice channeling plow promises a considerable simplification of the task of ice barrage prevention at points on a river where ice transit is impeded. Indications are that dangerous ice barriers can be eliminated on major rivers or in the head regions of non-transfluent forebays or reservoirs.
