Abstract
The report reviews methods that have been developed for the prediction of creep and rupture behavior in both metallic and non-metallic materials. A number of analytical expressions are evaluated as to their ability to model creep data obtained from creep experiments, and methods for predicting long term creep performance and rupture behavior of materials from short term (time) tests are investigated.
