Abstract
The Molicel is a patented, rechargeable battery using a lithium metal negative electrode and a molybdenum disulphide positive. In the present work a number of cells were cycled at room temperature (20-25C) at rates similar to those prescribed by the manufacturer. Discharge capacity was found to be better than promised, but cycle-life for type A was below expectations.
