Abstract
The aims of the Technology Trends, Threats and Opportunities (T3O) study are to provide an assessment of the technological environment in which the Canadian Forces will have to operate in the next 20 - 30 years, to indicate potential threats due to advances in technology, and to identify the opportunities that technology advances will offer for enhancing Canadian defence capabilities. The aim of the study is not to produce future plans, but to provide the technology forecasting input to the strategic planning process.
