Abstract
Particular attention is paid to the use of the visioplasticity technique as an empirical experimental analytical tool in the development of energy relationships. The correspondence attained between theoretically computed and experimentally measured drawbar pull shows the viability and usefulness of the method used. The significant point to be made here is the capacity for assessing the type and degree of energy loss (or transfer) in the wheel-soil interaction problem.
