Abstract
A cavity perturbation technique has been employed for the localized measurement of the permittivity of low-loss materials at microwave frequencies. The method used requires the minimum of sample preparation and measurement effort, and could readily be adapted to permeability measurements. Continuous monitoring applications are possible.
