Abstract
A quantitative micropulsation information system (QMIS) has produced computer-compatible records in Southern Alberta for five years. Existing programs can retrieve from its output tapes measurements of the natural background level, its frequency distribution, and dependence on time of day over a dynamic range of 40 dB or more and between about 0.05 and 1 Hz. They can, in addition, produce estimates of the power per unit bandwidth and its frequency dependence. Although sample intervals, some more than a year in length, have been treated, most of the records remain to be processed.
