Abstract
This document presents the methodology, results, and conclusions of Human Factors (HF) studies related to the creation of workspace layout templates for a generic Intelligence Centre (INTCEN) and develops instructions on how to apply such templates to future INTCEN designs. This work is a component of the Joint Intelligence and Information Science & Technology Capability (JI2STC) Project whose high-level objective is to modernize intelligence capabilities of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) by informing, sharing, and enabling CF Intelligence Command (CFINTCOM) via their Force Development organization to influence future capital projects. It is one of the Science and Technology (S&T) initiatives that aims to explore, develop and validate new concepts, techniques and applications to improve a Joint Intelligence collection and production capability intended for all-source, multi-INT collection and analytical teams in production environments of the future.
