Abstract
The use risk assessment (RA) information is an integral component of program management planning and priority setting, and can be leveraged across the Centre for Security Science (CSS) to inform the current and future distribution of investment. RA can also be used to identify the emerging threats and hazards that are contributing to the high risk situations, and the assessment products generated can be used for other purposes, such as portfolio management, or deciding on how and where to prioritize investments in Science & Technology (S&T) to focus on the highest vulnerabilities of concern within a particular Community of Practice (CoP).
