Abstract
The Army Technology Training Devices Exhibition (ARMX) was held at St. Hubert, Quebec, from 20 to 23 April 1983. The aims of this international conference were: (a) to inform an demonstrate to senior army commanders, their staffs and users, the latest technology and training devices available; (b) to promote an understanding of army training requirements and DND procurement procedures: and (c) to foster Canadian/Foreign industry relationships for future development of training devices. Included in this compilation are the administrative report and general comments on the exhibition, and keynote addresses on Canadian Army requirements, DND contractural and procurement, an industry viewpoint of DND, and new directions in US Armed Forces training.
