Abstract
Several wargaming methods are investigated as possible ways to enhance the Capability Based Planning (CBP) process in the areas of capability requirements identification and force planning scenario validation. A hypothesis was developed reflecting these possibilities. Four sets of trials covering three game styles were run to collect data to validate the hypothesis. The results indicate that the wargaming methods should prove useful for scenario validation but are inconclusive on the question of enhancing capability requirement identification.
