Abstract
The Abbreviated Level of Repair Analysis (ALORA) model was developed by D Log A in 1982 to demonstrate the feasibility of implementing a LOR analysis model on a TI59 programmable calculator. Following the expressed interest of Program Management Offices in DND, ALORA II has been developed and tested to overcome some of the difficulties created by the original run procedures. The revised model provides a simple, efficient and "user-friendly" tool for maintenance planners wishing to assess the economic LOR for line replaceable units. It may be quite suitable for small to medium sized projects or as a training tool for maintenance planners and logistics analysts working on larger projects.
