Abstract
The work presented in this report forms part of the applied research project (ARP) 1Seo, which aims to find concepts of guidance, navigation and control (GNC) viable for a satellite launcher. This paper presents a review of sensors, algorithms and integration that are used for the navigation of space vehicles. First, we review sensors used on various spacecraft and sensors based on observation of the stars. Next, we consider some data fusion algorithms. After that, we explore the possible integration of different sensors. Finally, we give overview of a navigation model that takes into account a flexible structure.
