Abstract
The Public Safety Broadband Network (PSBN) Task Team, on behalf of Public Safety Canada, Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada; and Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) invited PSBN stakeholders to workshops across Canada to identify user requirements associated with the deployment of a national PSBN. This report summarizes the outputs from the eight (8) workshops conducted across Canada as well as the feedback received from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). This report provides the amalgamation of the issues raised and changes made to the PSBN Use Cases and User Requirements document (published separately). The report also captures a number of anecdotes relayed to the authors in the course of the cross-Canada workshops about the potential benefits of a national PSBN.
