Abstract
The urinary excretion rate of dimethylmorpholinophosphoramidate (DMMPA) has been determined for 4, 8, 12 and 24 hour periods following its intramuscular injection into six human volunteers. The figure used for the excretion rate was the urinary DMMPA in each time period as a percentage of the injected DMMPA. These data allow for the assessment of intake using shorter urine collection periods following the use of DMMPA as a simulant for chemical agents. It was also determined that when DMMPA was injected into the deltoid muscle, it could be detected in urine for six days but not on the seventh.
