Abstract
The economic life for the 1/4 ton truck is obtained as the age for which the average cost per year is at a minimum. Cost factors included are: operating cost (petroleum, oil, lubricants), maintenance cost, and depreciation cost (purchase price minus resale value). All figures were converted in 1978/79 dollars.
