Abstract
The development of FORTRAN and APL programs used to compute mass properties (mass, center of gravity position, moments of inertia) of configurations with rotational symmetry is described in the report. Three types of elements: a body of revolution, thin plates (fins) and complementary masses (with known properties) may be combined to represent the configuration being analyzed. A drawing of the complete configuration and of its parts may be obtained as well as their dimensioning. The main formulas, examples of how to use them and comparisons with experimental results are also presented.
