Abstract
Time-span of Discretion methods were used to study the work-roles of some military nurses in the Canadian Armed Forces. The ranks covered were Lieutenant through Lieutenant-Colonel. Information was obtained about the suitability of the present rank structure for the organizational requirements of the nursing classification. Results of the study produced suggestions which could reduce the attrition rate for this class of military personnel.
