Abstract
The report is a comparative study of the spatial filters proposed for detecting stationary or slow-moving point target. The filters are characterized by their probability of detection against (a) the probability of false alarm, (b) the strength or contrast of the target for a given false-alarm rate or (c) the noise for a given false-alarm rate and a given strength or contrast.
