Abstract
The memorandum describes computer programs which generate graphic displays of ship hull boundary layers from output from the DREA boundary layer program BLAYER. BLDSPY is a program which will plot any one of six boundary layer parameters along a line on the hull. The boundary layer parameters which may be plotted are the streamwise momentum thickness, the streamwise displacement thickness, the boundary layer thickness, the shape factor, the tangent of the cross-flow angle, or the skin friction coefficient. The program ISOVEL displays the cross-section of prescribed station on the hull and shows the location of iso-velocity contours. The programs DSHLL and STMHLC described in a previous memorandum have also been modified to include the display of boundary layer parameters.
