Abstract
The DCIEM/Canadian Forces decompression tables were developed in 1983 as a replacement for the US Navy Standard Air Tables. The problem with the USN tables is that the tables are rarely used as printed and corrections must be made for safe decompression. The objective in developing a new set of tables for the Canadian Forces was to produce tables which could be used directly as printed for hard-working dives in cold water.
