Abstract
Persons responsible for monitoring and controlling cost move expenditures, using the Cost Move Commitment Control System, suspected that fiscal year 1983/1984 domestic-to-domestic costs were slightly high due to a possible increase in weight of furniture and effects moved. The staff note is a description of the investigation of that problem, of the results found, and of the statistical significance of those results.
