OPTIMAL LOADING OF AN AIRLIFT

Abstract
The problem of how best to load a given quantity of materiel for an airlift is shown to be a straightforward application of integer programming, simpler than usual because the coefficients are non-negative integers. That this method is practical is shown by Capt. A.M. Shurson in an as yet unpublished study.
