Abstract
A scoring system has been developed for measuring the miss distance at closest point of approach for man-portable air defence (MPAD) missiles such as BLOWPIPE or JAVELIN fired against an approaching remotely piloted aircraft target. The Missile Intercept Scoring System (MISS) is a video-based monitoring system which combines miss distance scoring, missile analysis and operator training.
