Abstract
The report describes research designed to elucidate the phenomena occurring at the electrode/electrolyte interface. The emphasis has been on the lithium/non-aqueous solvent, electrolyte system because of its importance to lithium battery research. The technique to observe surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) was the principle method.
