Abstract
A literature search and a review of selected references was carried out in order to determine the feasibility of a cost-benefit analysis of scientific and technological information in respect to research and operational activites. The concepts and principles of cost-benefit analysis, relevant studies, and possible alternative methodologies were examined. The Project Report describes the investigations and sets forth the findings, conclusions and recommendations for consideration of the sponsor.
